Packing It Flat

Was back from my trip a week ago and wondering what would be the best way to store those puffy feather-down jackets.   These are extra bulky and takes up much of the suitcase compartment.
Someone suggested using a vacuum bag which was a great idea.  We’ve all seen that kind of packaging in some products.  Not only does it reduce the bulk of the item but hopefully minimize the chances of mold formation on it.  Got a couple of these vacuum bags from Daiso at just $2 each.  They come in various brands and sizes so pick one which suits the item.
These bags come with a ziplock fastening which you close with the slider provided.  Leaving a small opening at the end, insert a vacuum nozzle to suck out any remaining air.  Then quickly seal the opening with the slider.  Enjoyed watching the puffy jackets being compressed.   Now I have plenty of space to store the rest of the items.
Note:  Do not fold the bag across the ziplock fastener as that will damage it and break the seal.
